Advisor

Tommy Kim brings over 13 years of extensive legal experience in corporate law, spanning both Korea and the United States. Prior to joining Solid State Law Firm, he worked at renowned firms like Kim & Chang in Seoul and Oliff PLC in the United States. He also held the role of Associate General Counsel at Coupang, a major global e-commerce company, where he managed complex negotiations and advised on a range of technology and transactional matters. 

Tommy specializes in technology transactions, intellectual property, commercial agreements, e-commerce, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. He has a strong track record of delivering strategic legal guidance to multinational corporations, streamlining legal processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, Tommy co-founded a legal tech startup, where he spearheaded the creation of AI-powered tools to automate legal research and document drafting, showcasing his innovative approach to the intersection of law and technology.
Tommy earned his JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of British Columbia. He was licensed to practice law in Virginia and Massachusetts, and he is proficient in both English and Korean. 

Project Manager

Nisha Bhatia brings a powerful combination of scientific precision and strategic business insight to her role as Project Manager at Solid State Law Firm. With a Bachelors in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College (India) and an MBA from ICFAI Business School (India), she excels at translating complex concepts into actionable plans, driving impactful results. With over a decade of experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, and market research, she excels in translating complex concepts into actionable strategies. Nisha specializes in developing innovative marketing initiatives   that support patent and trademark-related business growth. She has the capability to lead strategic content marketing, social media engagement, and customer-centric approaches. Her strategic vision and creative execution directly contribute to enhancing client competitiveness and supporting Solid State Law Firm's mission.   

Project Manager

Minji Kang is a versatile and results-driven Project Manager at Solid State Law Firm, specializing in business strategy, operations management, and intellectual property consulting. With a background in corporate innovation and international market analysis, Minji plays a key role in aligning business objectives with legal strategies, ensuring that clients maximize the value of their intellectual assets. Prior to joining Solid State Law Firm, Minji worked as a Business Consultant at PwC, where she developed market expansion strategies, process optimization frameworks, and corporate development plans for diverse industries. Her expertise in business analytics and operational efficiency enables her to provide tailored legal solutions that integrate intellectual property protection with commercial success. At Solid State Law Firm, Minji collaborates closely with attorneys to streamline legal processes, enhance strategic planning, and support cross-border transactions. Her ability to bridge the gap between business and law makes her an invaluable asset to our firm and our clients.

Minji is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds a BA in Business from Ewha Women’s University. She is fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese, allowing her to effectively support international clients in navigating complex legal and business landscapes.
