Bill is a seasoned attorney specializing in patent law with a wealth of experience across his career. Before joining our team, he served as the managing attorney for a patent prosecution group at Kile Park Reed Houtteman in Virginia and was recognized by Samsung Display as one of the top practitioners in patent preparation and also in patent prosecution. His expertise includes prosecuting utility and design patent applications in diverse technological areas such as display devices, semiconductors, CPUs, memory, image processing, 3D printing, aviation systems, medical devices, renewable energy, communication systems, e-commerce, blockchain, and artificial intelligence. In addition to his patent practice, Bill has substantial legal experience in trademark, trade secret, copyright, business law, immigration. real estate, and so on.
Bill earned his JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his BS in Electronic Engineering from Sogang University in Seoul, Korea. He is licensed to practice in District Columbia and New York and before the USPTO (limited recognition).

Hanhwe Kim is a patent and intellectual property attorney with an in-depth understanding of computer technology. He has worked as general counsel for an AI chip startup, as well as in software copyright enforcement for computer-aided design tools, and patent prosecution and litigation. Prior to becoming an attorney, Hanhwe worked in the tech industry for twenty years as a researcher, software engineer, and entrepreneur specializing in user interface technologies.
Hanhwe holds a JD from Santa Clara University, a PhD in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in Computer Science from Sogang University in Seoul Korea. Hanhwe is licensed in California and before the USPTO.

He has a strong track record of delivering strategic legal guidance to multinational corporations, streamlining legal processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, Tommy co-founded a legal tech startup, where he spearheaded the creation of AI-powered tools to automate legal research and document drafting, showcasing his innovative approach to the intersection of law and technology.
