Managing Attorney

As a lead attorney at Solid State Law, Bill bridges complex legal frameworks with strategic business growth. He specializes in startup law, helping founders build legally sound companies positioned for long-term success.

In addition to his startup-focused practice, Bill is a seasoned patent practitioner with extensive experience in patent preparation and prosecution across diverse technology sectors. His work has been recognized by Samsung Display, which named him one of its top-performing patent practitioners.

Beyond the patent office, Bill serves as a trusted general counsel and strategic advisor to growing companies, advising not only on intellectual property but also on litigation, tax, and business, and guiding companies from formation through exit. His experience includes serving as an independent director for a startup and as legal counsel to the Daejeon Global Business Center, giving him a global perspective on market entry, risk management, and long-term scaling.
