Valerie is an attorney, mediator, entrepreneur and former U.S. Air Force Signals Intelligence and Adversary Electronic Combat Operations Officer. Her experience includes representing U.S. and international technology, telecommunications and aerospace companies. Her practice areas include business, securities, mergers, acquisitions, software & technology licensing, and aviation law. She is admitted to practice in Texas, Virginia, New Jersey, California and the District of Columbia. Her certifications include CBCP, CCRP, Government Contracting, ADR and CISSP (pending April 2025). She was awarded an LLM (Highest Honors) in National Security & U.S. Foreign Relations Law from George Washington University (“GWU”) Law School, a Masters Certificate in Government Contracting from GWU Business School, a J.D. from Whittier College, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and a dual baccalaureate in Modern European Studies and French from Vanderbilt University. Her works are published in Journal of Air Law and Commerce, The International Lawyer, and Journal of World Energy Law & Business, Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal, Guide to Fixed-Price Supply Subcontract Terms and Conditions, 6th Ed., and Nuclear Fission - From Fundamentals to Applications.
