Jeanne is a licensed patent attorney with over twenty years of experience in patent prosecution. Jeanne’s career began as a patent examiner at The United States Patent & Trademark Office in the display arts and further includes experience at a large multinational law firm in Washington, D.C., as well as in boutique firms in Washington D.C., and in Virginia. The range of Jeanne’s technologies includes patent prosecution in the display arts, medical devices, optics, semiconductor manufacturing, and telecommunications. Jeanne has worked with United States clients as well as with clients from Asia and Europe.
Jeanne’s goals are to provide a high-quality and timely work product for the client and to foster the client’s business needs and business development. In addition to patent prosecution, Jeanne enjoys copyright law, trademark law, trade secrets, patent valuation and portfolio management. Jeanne holds a bachelor’s degree with majors in physics and French, a master’s degree in physics, a law degree, and a Master of Laws focusing on Intellectual Property Law.
In addition to Jeanne’s interest in intellectual property law, Jeanne enjoys writing and having her work published and is in the process of publishing her first book of poetry and song lyrics. Jeanne is also working on her first book of short stories, and her first children’s book.
Jeanne is licensed to practice before The United States Patent & Trademark Office and is a member of the bars of New Jersey and Washington, D.C.
