Hanhwe Kim, Ph.D.

Hanhwe Kim is an accomplished patent attorney and intellectual property expert with a deep understanding of computer technology. He has served as general counsel for an AI chip startup and has experience in software copyright enforcement for computer-aided design tools, as well as patent prosecution and litigation. Before transitioning into the field of law, Hanhwe spent twenty years in the tech industry as a researcher, software engineer, and entrepreneur, focusing on user interface technologies.

Hanhwe Kim holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University, a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Sogang University in Seoul, Korea. He is licensed to practice in California and is also registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
